The first workcamp of Service Civil International

This archives documentation is a compilation of more than 30 documents and around 20 photos gives insight in the course of the first workcamp of SCI. They were scanned from original archives documents. With help of optical character recognition the content of type written reports and letters were digitized. The handwritten documents are reproduced as image. All documents are kept in the original languages, French, English and German. This documentation is not complete. There may be other sources in other archives in France, Germany and USA. With the publication of the 'source code' SCI, interested parties are invited to study and investigate the beginning of our organisation.
