Library presents archives directory

The city library of La Chaux-de-Fonds presented today a new 180 pages strong directory of archives.

There are about 80 different archives and visual collection like photos, posters and movies, which are kept in this institutions. The library is holding archives form important local personalities like (e.g. Le Corbusier) and associations. In this book is also the SCI archives listed, which the library consider as part his pacifist collection.

The description is following the international archives standard ISAG-D, which will be included in the database of the library network of west Switzerland (RERO). This shall shall help researcher to find the appropriate archives for their work. All in all this directory is a measure to up value the archives in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
