Documentary planned on Spanish Civil War (1937-39)

From SCI  in Madrid I got the news, that a film director is interested in making a documentary relief work on SCI during the Spanish Civil War 1937-1939.

SCI was then charged by several NGOs to organize refugee evacuations for children in the war region and set up feeding programm for children and old people.

At the moment he evaluates the feasibility of the project. A such a film would be a great opportunity to vindicate SCI contribution to peace and  to the memory of SCI volunteers in this  difficult period of histoy.

SCI Archives owns an extensive collections of documents (see pictures) and photos of this period and will contribute to this project.
